I have no reason to post this photo, but I am anyway.

The area we typically go boating has quite a few bears. Last time we went we didn’t see any, but yesterday we saw three.

This was the second group, a mama and cub. If you think they look small you’re right. These are black bears, whereas most portrayals of bears are grizzlies, which are much larger.

They’re still large enough that I was grateful to be on a boat with a quick getaway!
