Running For The Riesling

Bustin a gut, buildin a butt

11 notes

These cats, these are my best friends. They’ve been there through it all. Fat and thinner, happy and sad. (Technically the chica is my cousin, but she still counts as a best friend.) And we have had some GOOD times lemme tell ya! But now we all have some goals. Mine and Meg’s weight loss related, Andrew’s financial.

So, I proposed a challenge. A 30 day Lose the Booze challenge, to be exact. And to my surprise and delight they agreed!

Today marks day three of the challenge for us. There are a few exception days, such as a wedding we have coming up, but those days have a three drink maximum…for the whole day or night.

Last night I sat around with my coworkers and watched them drink wine while I chugged water. And guess what? I didn’t die. In fact, I lost 2.5 of the 3 pounds of bloat I put on from drinking last weekend. It was worth forgoing the wine!

So, here we go! 3 friends, 30 days, Lose the Booze!
